Michael recently helped my wife and I sell our old home, and buy our current home. He was very involved with what needed to get done before putting the house on the market, and suggesting a proper listing price. With his help, we were able to get the house under contract (we had 4 to choose from) for ABOVE asking price within 3 days of listing!!! The bank appraisal came in at the exact sale price to boot! He was at the house for every showing, and would wait for me to get home from work so we could go over any contracts. When searching for a new home, Michael was very responsive to any questions we had, and met us for showings with only a couple hours notice. He was patient with us, and diligent when it came to analyzing a property we were interested in. He found us a beautiful new home, and helped us negotiate a great deal on it! Michael recently helped me purchase my first home and I could not be happier with my experience. Michael went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout the process and had all the tools at my disposal to make educated decisions. He is extremely attentive: he always answered my questions promptly and helped me stay on top of meetings and deadlines. I like to always be early, and would often show up 10 or 15 minutes before a scheduled walk-through or a meeting with contractor. Michael almost always beat me to the meeting, and as I would pull up I would see him talking to the contractor or checking things around the house in preparation for our walk-through. Michael is also very knowledgeable about all aspects of the home buying process. He helped walk me through inspection reports, estimates from contractors and electricians, and the mountain of paperwork from my lender. He even crawled under my home with the structural engineer to give me a better idea of what the professional was talking about. I never felt uncomfortable through out my closing because I knew Michael would be able to answer any questions I had. On a related note, Michael also has a great network of contractors, appraisers, attorneys, insurance agents, brokers etc. in the Charleston area. This proved to be invaluable when I began to feel overwhelmed with the number of players involved in the purchase. I never felt pushed into using a specific professional either, as he always had a list of multiple people and could help me research others if I couldn't find what I was looking for. Finally, Michael was also very helpful with negotiations. He always gave me his honest opinion as to the true value of things, whether it be the purchase price or repair costs or professional fees, and helped me be realistic in making reasonable offers that helped me get the best price while also keeping the other party at the bargaining table. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Michael and my recent experience. He is honest, trustworthy, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, the list goes on. As long as we're both in the Charleston area, I don't think I will ever need or use another realtor. I would highly recommend Michael to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

We have not bought or sold a house in 22 years. Michael's expertise and advice were very valuable to us and he was right on the mark every time. He did a very detailed market analysis to help us with the list price and again he was spot on. We had a contract on our house within hours of the realtor's open house and we were very pleased with the sale price.
